The SABIR system lends itself well to weapons employment applications. The SABIR system is capable of carrying various weapons and targeting turret systems. With weapons carriage USAF Seek Eagle certification and separation/drop testing of weapons pod is required. Airdyne is fully capable of supporting such testing and has worked extensively with the USAF Seek Eagle office at Eglin AFB. The SABIR strut uses a standard BRU-12 bomb rack ejector unit and the system is wired but not connected.
